To analyze the preference of
music magazine readers on which fanzine graphics they prefer for music magazine
design, this research is using hybrid methodology which is combining both
quantitative and qualitative methods.
Using
case study research method, the researcher did library research to collect data
from original documents such as books,
magazines, fanzines and the internet for secondary data. Interviews were
done with two key persons of music magazine to analyze their take on the
research statement and their view to prolong the survival of a music magazine.
On the other hand, a
statistical survey has been distributed as a primary data collection. This was
done to strengthen the research findings. Music magazine readers from around
Klang Valley will participate in this survey collecting.
